A short, personal project about the necessary connectivity of human brains. I
came up with this video idea after reading a few sections of The
Neuroscience of Human Relationships: Attachment and the Developing Social Brain by
Louis Cozolino. This passage (and this book in general) made me realize how important for our
health others are and that each and every person has to one another. As Cozolino
says "[w]ithout mutually stimulating interactions, people and neurons
wither and die […]
in humans it is called depression, grief, and suicide" (11).
In the short clip, we can see a heart in a cage, "an imprisoned heart", trying to be full and bright, but by the end he can't keep it going and simply turns off...
